In my very first year of teaching art, I was blessed to have a classroom next to June Williams, the music teacher, who was on her last year before retirement. As we navigated the challenges of teaching during Covid, she also became my good friend. She asked if I could illustrate the pages of a children’s book she authored. This book is a faith-based welcome for new babies and their families. It was a joy to make these illustrations for such a meaningful book.
